Interdis is one of the most important networks in the Italian retail sector. Dimeglio and Sidis are the main banners. The group is made up of  27 regional companies and the sales network is formed by over 2.723 points of sales (supermarkets, hypermarkets, minimarkets, discounts and cash&carry stores) scattered all over Italy. Interdis offers consumers a high level and wide assortment of goods with special regards to fresh and local food. The group stands out in the Italian retail sector as to marketing knowledge (Interdis is pioneer in Italy as to CRM and Collaborative-CRM initiatives). The actions that are carried out daily, both in store and through other channels (e.g.: mailings, e-mails, sms) retain an extremely innovative side, being strongly tied to database-marketing knowledge. Most of all, it must be underlined that behavioural data coming from nearly 4 million loyalty cards are the best basis to optimize each retailing mix lever, to deliver C-CRM actions and to develop the role of private labels. Following this path, the final objective of Interdis is to strengthen its role as an Italian example of excellence in the retail sector.
